A Free and Open Indus Font package based on Unicode

The purpose of this font is to efficiently render the Indus script on an electronic medium like a blog, wiki or an e-Book. This also represents a Vishasita specific encoding of Indus glyphs. This encoding is used to define characters for all other resources on this page.

Electronic corpus of Seal Text

This is an electronic version of the text of the seals in the Seal Image Archive. This is the primary data set for all algorithmic analysis of Indus texts. It forms the basis of the Seal Image Search Engine. It is available in tsv, json and xml formats.

A Search Engine for Seal Images

This indexes the seals in the Seal Image Archive with the e-Concordance. It allows one to efficiently query seals that have a particular glyph/set of glyphs; as well as discover what is out there. In effect, a concordance for the 21st century.

Archive of Seal Images from Public Domain ASI Reports

This is a collection of 2011 seal images extracted from the original Archaeological Survey of India reports on the excavations at Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa. These reports are more than 75 years old and the photos in them have lapsed into the public domain.
