Welcome to Vishasita

The Indus Script is the last among those of the major Early Civilizations to remain undeciphered. Vishasita assumes that it is a logographic script and attempts to interpret the meaning of the logograms in terms of ancient Indian Culture.

There are few resources available to the general public for studying the Indus Script. The Vishasita effort required building many from scratch and these can now be shared - e.g. an Indus font, a Seal Search Engine, an Electronic Corpus, etc.

All resources are made available in a Free and Open license. The intent is to open this problem domain to the widest possible audience so that it can engage more eyes and minds. No permission is required; even for Commercial use.
